Help! What Camcorder should I buy? And Father Update

So after thinking for a long time...I do want to get a brand new camera again!
I have been wanting to make movies for a long time, especially Let's Play videos. And I know YouTube is crazy with them. Everyday there are more and new Lets Play videos coming up. Hell I figure I could be bit popular doing Lets Play vids for the fandom! Or something like that. Just for the fun, I like making people laugh and entertain them. I haven't tested my reactions much, they may not be as good as PewDiePie, Tobuscus or Markiplier at first, but ill still want to try!
So I am trying to find a camera that is affordable. Not expansive or cheap as hell. Something that takes 1080p, awesome resolution, and HOPEFULLY Night-vision. Night Vision is only optional, but I'll still want to try. The limit I will buy is between $200 and $300. I don't want something fancy or big...maybe not too small, cause small cameras always make me nervous...makes me think ill break it haha
So anyway, do you have any options or suggestions for me? Anything at all?! I need the helpz!
So! About my father. Before you ask, he is just fine. He is now awake, talking and completely normal. He called me a few times the last few days, and was telling me everything is okay, even making sure I was okay. It did scare the living shit out of me...but I am just grateful that he is fine, as if nothing is wrong with him, he sounds great. But we ain't out of the woods yet, hes still in intensive care, but hopefully today he will be out of it and in a normal room.
But I want to let you all know...that you have no idea how it feels to know that you guys kept your prayers and hopes for me and for my dad. For that...Thank you so very much...you have no idea how grateful I am. It really does mean alot...and I want to again thank my honey baby Clemikou for making a journal about my situation, expanding the hope, that you all kept alive. Thank you so much baby...<3 and Thank you All. I know that I am always there for you all...but its...just a wonderful feeling...knowing that you all there for me...I will Never...forget it <3 Thank you. *hugs to you all*
