Chris is such a sweet cat

My cat is dying.
My daughter and I have been up all night sitting with him.
He had a blocked urinary tract.
We took him in to get it unblocked.
We think he had a reaction to the extremely strong pain meds they sent us home with.
He was drinking and peeing but he was sooo stoned since Sunday.
The weird thing was he kept wanting to get up and walk.
He would walk part way down the hall and lay down.
Through the night, he kept getting up and getting off the bed.
I know it isn't because of another blockage and the symptomes would have been more extreme and faster if it was from back up or escapage into the abdomin.
He has been fighting all night. We even started thinking he was going to pull through - but.
Now he is laying in one spot and occasionally tries to lift his head.
I told the vet last night and this morning discussed the drug with him so he knows some cats can't handle it.
The drug is Buprenorphine - much stronger than Morphine.
We are both on and off tears all night.
He keeps trying to pick up his head.
Damn, he just got up and walked past me (wobbly) into the kitchen and layed down.
We keep thinking he is gone or at the edge and - he just got up and walked 2 feet and layed down again.
See why we think it is from the drugs.
We just don't know what to think.
When I talked to the vet he was on death's bed - at quarter to nine this morning.
I will let you know how it goes.
