New Art being scanned and posted

General
Finally posting some of the pencil drawings and scribbles that I occupy my free time with and hope one day to eventually finish as colored art. I really need to get back into being more communicative and responsive. This art spurt will probably continue until the day before Further Confusion, and may dredge up some older sketches that I haven't scanned. Most of the stuff I sketch is my own personal explorations of ideas, both mundane and truly weird, so let me know what you think about; I am curious. I really must thank Kiteless for lighting the fire under my seat, so to speak; and watching the Legendz anime and reading the Legendz manga was another inspiration for sharing my own recent art.

I used to think drawing for a living would be a bad thing for the reason you describe. I thought being a programmer would pay well and give me the opportunity to enjoy my hobbies. Now after 20 years of doing the same job, I find I am stressed out more and too brain-dead to be creative in the evenings. The bright side is my house is almost paid off and I recently bought a top of teh line 50" plasma TV.
My new rule, is just do what you enjoy and try not to stress over any or of. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
HUGS!

I started playing around with ZBrush: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1372879/ but like you, I am having a difficult time wrapping my head around some things not to mention noing nothing about rigging a sculpture for animation. There is something to be said for just playing around with Poser and jsut having fun without having to do a lot of work. Sure it may not be 'real art' but it's fun none the less:

Your animation project sounds like fun. As much as I enjoy CG animation I LOVE stop motion work. Just watched Nightmare Before Christmas over the hollidays. :D
