The Adult Dragon Panel showed me that I really need to put more effort into finishing my artwork; being sandwiched in-between two totally awesome artists whose work reflects there passion for their subjects was a bit scary and humbling; I also do not like public speaking very much I get too quiet and talk too quickly or too little about the art on screen. Oh well; I have commented that I prefer to let the artwork speak for itself, the idea either hits a chord with the audience or it doesn't. Not all of my artwork is going to appeal to everyone, that's the nature of art. I try to make it more of a self-satisfaction thing anyway, this stuff is basically my way of figuring things out. This means that the results are going to be rough, sketchy and crude when they first come out. If people like, that's a side benefit. Not everyone likes the same thing, that's a given. SO, in the end I felt a bit inadequate, but not in a bad way; I just need to through myself into my art with a good deal more passion for it to improve; take risks try things I wouldn't normally try and be more willing to try new techniques. It's a learning process.

I have admired some of your work, and I would love to see a rendition of my character from you :3 If not a trade would you prefer I commissioned you?
I pay up front x3
Maybe you didn't notice, but you did get ooos and aaahs from the crowd. Perhaps you were too busy being worried your work isn't good enough.
You've got the skill. You do great stuff. If there's anything insufficient, it's just that you need to stop worrying you're not good enough or something and see it through.
God, I was so nervous up there onstage, especially with no idea how people would take it... At least you drew the stuff you were presenting! (the only thing I actually did of mine was the coordination and the ridgeback sculpt ><)
After the panel I realised that I really need to have more of a direct involvement in the things we make - ever since I started I've been trying to farm off most of the sculpting stuff onto others, leaving me without much to be proud of in a creative setting... oh well :/
You and your art are awesome; don't get discouraged!
