Heart Stones
Are a closed species that contains several sub species.
The Name----
HeartStones are a humanoid/anthromorphic creature that
Has varying amounts of jems or Stones imbedded into its skin.
Each one has a "HeartStone" or "StoneHeart" That provides
Its life force and keeps it alive. If this is removed from the creature
It will die.
The Gems----
The gems found on the body of the Heart Stones change color according to mood. Each HeartStone develops its own color/emotional patterns. The stones may glow in the dark and can
Be controlled by The HeartStone. The Gems are not present at
Birth and Grow one time. They only have one set of Gems and
If a gem is removed it will not grow back and may leave a painful
Hole. When a hole is present the creature may often fill it with a
Rock to avoid infection and lessen the pain. Over time the rock
May turn into a new gem.
