yeah man it's exhausting, the heat over here isn't helping. It's supposed to be around 90F if not in the triple digits this week so yay... I'm not looking forward to it at all.

Well I'll say this, traditional is always nice, and always appreciated because of how much time and patience goes into it. I still draw with charcoal and paint whenever I have enough time to actually set up all my stuff.
Digital is a little "cheaper" when it comes to that when you think about how much money you spend on traditional supplies (even if you draw with pencils, the type you use and what you work on in terms of paper quality and even blending sticks and kneaded erasers, etc will cost some pretty hefty money depending on what brands you prefer and what not.)

I say to give digital a try if you can afford a cheap drawing pad, it'll be REALLY hard to get used to (at least for me I wasn't used to it so much) but eventually it feels okay. That and you don't have to worry about your art getting a warped perspective because you'll be looking straight ahead into the screen.
Other than that try and branch out with other traditional mediums, make it pop with colours if you want.

Well that is true, but mostly what I'm still trying to do is figure out how I can master anatomy so my characters will look right when I draw them in different poses.

Are you using reference by any chance?

Sometimes, other times I try to draw poses from memory.
