i absolutely can't stand when you befriend a commissioner and then afterwards they expect you to just? draw them free art?? like, i understand giving friends gifts. but thats the keyword. gift. something you do on your own terms.
whats even worse is when they do it just BECAUSE they're hoping to get free art. or leech off popularity if you have that going for you.
i just... hhhghh. i havent had this happen to me in a long while, so dont think im looking at any of you! a friend of mine and i were talking about this cause she's sorta going through it and it just.. omg it makes me so upset.

been having a rough week so arts been either on the back burner or hard to really make real progress on. i've been doing a lot of work today, though! everything seems to be moving along nicely ;w;
just bear with me! i promise everything should be back on track super soon<333
(also on a side note im currently downloading ds2 and praying to multiple gods that my laptop will run it)

don't get me wrong, though. i've made some reaaally cool friends who started as commissioners ;w; and we very much so kept the business end of our relationship alive
its just unfortunate how often that happens to people, because it really turns you away from wanting to have any kind of relationship with the people you're doing all the art for :c
eventually you'll develop a sense for who's after you for free art and who's not.

It's annoying as hell.
Sadly a lot of people are like that, like the guy you've just met who wants to borrow something and will totally not return it.
