Artwork n stuff i'm working on, which ill eventually submit:
-Bigdino lineart from stream few months ago
-character select screen
-request for

-Titan-saur
-"how I draw females" tutorial, inspired by

- finish trade with

This might sound out of character, but i'm not one to get mad all the time. However. there are big enough things that grind my effing gears. Grab some popcorn and a folding chair, this is gonna be one for the history books:

In all seriousness, though. He/She was very nice and understanding when I refused to continue, and I guess sometimes, its just the result of bad communication or wrong assumptions being made. Either way, I'm glad to get it off my chest :)
Please do NOT let this deter you from asking for a request, since i'm fairly confident not all of you act like this :D
(and don't worry, I wont post a journal like this if you do :P)

I get a request from a random user/watcher/friend for me to draw their character (you know who you are >:(. It's pretty straight forward. This person gives me the reference, as well as any additional stuff they want for the pic. Pretty nice fellow.
*lineart finished* "sweet! let me send this to the guy/gal for them to see before I post it" (which I don't really do too often)
*wait for a response*
Response: "Oh, hey there! I'm liking the pic..... kinda... I thought you were gonna draw it in this style
(-link for a pic I did 13 months ago-). And not only that, you forgot to draw the wings.
*initiate rage mode: level 98*
"Seriously?" I say as I repeatedly pound my head into a concrete slab of WUT. He/She didn't even give so much as a HINT that their character had wings *pouts*
>"Water under the bridge, bro. I'll draw your character again, wings and all."
*back to the drawing board, as I pour battery acid over my head*
I Send "your character again: wings edition"
*A WILD NOTE APPEARS*
"They were meant to be insect wings, not bird wings ._."
*IT WAS SUPER EFFECTIVE*
4 hours... it took 4 HOURS to get this pic done. Naturally I responded with "i'm done". As I punched my wall with the fist of a thousand gods (not really).

Curious about which picture style he wanted it to be like.
Nothing straight forward. You'd have to to reeeeally work your head round with what he/she brings to the table and decode the heck out of what he/she messages you.
Props to you if you ever manage to nail his/her request first time (if you ever run into him/her).
Though, my suggestion would to take requests from good friends only because you know who your dealing with and you won't get those WILD notes mid drawing xD; but im sorry this person gave you the run around man :C *hugs*

I call his bluff and he just explodes at me. I mean seriously this guy just couldn't take a hint. No meant no and i was dead serious. I even told the guy i never really outright denied his request. I simply declined working on it till my roster was up. Then he could ask me again. sadly he got himself blocked. Hilariously he actually got himself banned later on as he went on a hell bent snit in his journals about how terrible i was and crap. His journals got removed time and time again. He kept reposting it. Sooo yeah he got banned.
But yeah i know your story quite well and its meaning. I'd say you handled the situation fine by refusing to work on his request further.
