So what's it like if I may ask? Do they numb you?

Yeah typically they will freeze the area before pulling. So they're put a jelly-like substance on your gum to weakly numb it (for the needle), and then they will insert a needle (sometimes more than one depending on where the tooth is) to completely freeze the area. After that they will let you chill out for a while as the freezing kicks in. You will feel NOTHING after that. And then of course, they get their proper equipment out to pull out the tooth.

While that last part sounds painful, it really isn't becaus eyou can't feel it! The most painful part is the needle, and that's just a small pinch for a few seconds that isn't too bad. Just think about something else as they insert it. Perhaps think about the next piece of art you'll make, and how you might lay it out. Completely tune out any attention to your mouth, and just let your mind wander to anything else.

Hopefully I didn't scare you with the needle part haha. It's just when I was younger, I HATED needles SO much, and I found that to overcome it, I just tuned it out (and grew a set of balls on the side... haha).
