Coffee & Tea
Ugh. The smell of a new pot of coffee brewing in the office right now is the catalyst to this pointless journal entry. lol.
I used to be a big coffee drinker, especially while in the Navy. However, my lactose intolerance and IBS prevents me from enjoying coffee anymore. Well, I could technically still drink coffee... I'd just be upset with myself later due to the my body's physical response to it.
I've since switched to tea. Right now, I'm drinking PG Tips English black breakfast tea. I use local (Michigan) raw honey and Lactaid brand milk. It's amazing. I wish I had some right now.
I'm just sad that I can't enjoy coffee much at all anymore, and tea is difficult to make on the run. Plus, I'm picky about my tea.
Just a rant. My office smells like Starbucks and it's driving me nuts. lol

Know what you mean about the coffee -- I love the smell of the roasted beans, but the end product tears my stomach up. Always has. During *my* Navy days, I was "that weird guy that doesn't drink coffee"... and stale coffee must be one of the foulest smells on the planet.
I drank SO much coffee in the Navy. We had a coffee maker in Sonar Control. I used to grab at least 2 cans (they were small) of coffee from Japanese vending machines on the way to the ship each morning too. My body doesn't like it now. Unfortunately, my taste buds still do.
