upcoming renasaince fair
So, next month there's a renaissance fair that's going on locally. I'm planning on going, hopefully in suit. I've contacted the fair organizers but haven't heard back yet if it'll be ok to wear my fursuit at their event. I'll let people know how things go and I'm definitely hoping to get some good pictures if I'm able to make this work. Any suggestions for suiting at a non-furry event? Other than the obvious ones like "Don't talk to the media", "Don't creep people out", and "Make sure to stay hydrated".
Wearing Faux Fur...in a place where the a-tire might include Real Fur?
Being outdoors for a long time...in full suit?
Quite honestly, I'm not sure what to expect. So...handler. Definitely have a handler. One thing a ren-fair might have you meeting up with are men with swords and other blunt objects. Quite possibly drunk people. And a whole array of types.
I mean...it might be a blast. You might be the stand out hit. Who knows. As...I'm not sure if this is unexplored territory or if we have any persons about with experience to share. But, my first impression is thinking it's kind of out of place. Say, like seeing a lion suiter at a Civil War re-enactment.
Most definitely have a handler friend with you.
