I just came back from the theater, hnnnnng. I loved the designs of Muto and Godzilla himself and the way he was presented made me want to cry with joy. I'll bitch about his awesome atomic breath not being as awesome... and I kinda wish they had made it at least like a 2 hour movie, it would've helped make some of the fight scenes longer. I understand though that this is a movie that focuses on the helplessness of humanity as these giants battle it out.

It's a good movie, I give it a 3.5/4 out of 5 honestly. The soundtrack was not impressive and my favorite character died so damn early but oh well.
Give it a chance if you can this weekend! The theater I went to was the most boring crowd ever, I was estatic with some scenes but god the crowd was just so bleeeeh. Ken Watanabe's character is like the biggest Godzilla fanboy ever, I was dying of laughter with his reactions to seeing Godzilla.
