The good news... Blaze went to the vet!
You are all awesome! Thank you to all that donated towards his vet visit!
The outcome:
He has arthritis in his knee now. Sometimes when he walks or moves just wrong his knee is catching. When it does that it is causing him to twist his leg which has no ball at the top of the femur. So when it does that it is basically coming out of the socket. That is why he isnt able to walk sometimes and limps so bad after. He said this is all related to the Legg-Calvé-Perthes Disease and his age.
The vet told me to massage it out then let him do his best to walk a bit and exercise it out when it does happen. He also prescribed pain meds for him.
The vet also told me that all in all, Blaze is the healthiest 10 year old pug that he has ever seen. The only other thing we need to worry about is that he needs his teeth cleaned and looked at. At his age, that is pretty standard.
The bad news...
My dad has stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to his liver. They are still doing tests and such to see how far it has spread. He ended up in the hospital Mother's Day weekend and we almost lost him on Mother's Day. He just came home from the hospital yesterday. And yesterday is when I found out his prognosis.
As it is, he is on chemo but if it doesn't nab the cancer fast they told him he has maybe 6 months. They said if the chemo eradicates all of the cancer cells he at best case has 2 years. He has so much colon and liver damage that it is best case and surgery is not an option. He only found out about the cancer 5 weeks ago. I just found out 2 weeks ago.

If you need anything just ask and you will have it. We may not believe in the same religion but my heart and soul goes out to you. As well as my form of prayer has you and yours in it. Be safe and stay well, everything happens for a reason even if we are blind to that reason. It is rough now but all will be as it should in the end.
