Huh... welp... Okay

Good to know. I stopped playing long before it went offline, but it wasn't a -bad- game. Just got old with its massive "inflation=difficulty" philosophy.

Admittedly the game isn't as good as some of the MMOs I've played since (FF14:ARR in particular raising the MMO bar), but for what it's worth the game did offer things that other games don't offer, which I feel gives it reason enough to exist. I doubt I'll play as religiously as I used to for a number of reasons, but the site indicates that it's starting off from an update shortly before where Nexon left off, so depending on when you left off it should give a big jump in general variety and gameplay improvements since MMOs by design are better the more time passes.

Oh yeah. I was a little sad when I heard it was going down, even though I didn't play it at all at that point. It's a decent game, and honestly, I think there probably should be an offline version of it (I guess there's something like that for XBox Live, but I don't know much about that). If it weren't for the absurd grinding problems and the fact that the "hard" difficulties of the dungeons were basically just "Enemies have absurd amounts of health and do more damage," it'd be one of the best brawlers out there.
