That is the plan.

Whoa whoa whoa... AGAIN? Dude didn't he make due the last time?

The first campaign was an indiegogo for 5k to make a demo with one character. They managed to raise 20k from that which was enough to cover the production of what it is now, which (while being an excellent proof of concept) is still not anything close to a full game.

But now there's a larger staff behind the project (myself being amongst them) and his goal is to take what the team has made so far and turn it into something that resembles an actual full game. Though you'd do better to inquiry him about the specifics personally  beastsfurystudio I just draw things for him. I don't handle the business end of things :P

Hmm, well I can't speak for him or anyone else on the project. But as someone who has had a couple games under their belt, (or in this case still in his pants) I can tell you that this video game development stuff can be a long, extensive and costly process.

Even with the best planning ahead of costs and scheduling, unforeseen x-factors can still come into play. Just to give you can example, Sony and Microsoft said developers can self publish on the Ps4/Xbone for free, as opposed to the tens of thousands of dollars it cost last gen. So the boss was like, "Cool, we can port the game to those systems too!." He contacts those guys and it turns out that it's no completely free...like not by a long shot. So plans had to change in light of that.

Again I'm just on the art side of things so I can only provide so much insight, but I can tell you that we're all sincere about this thing and want to get it out there anyway we can. But we do have to make sure we can still occasionally pay rent while were doing so :(

Well call me old fashioned but I always saw game creation as a passion for the medium not so much for ego stroking. I mean talking to the guy, he seems like a score snob. Upon hearing that if a game scores less than an 8 he won't touch it, it's a red flag to me. Like I said, call me old fashioned...

Haha, wow well that is a bit of an extreme on its face I agree.

Admittedly he can be overzealous at times, but I promise you he's a good kid. Without revealing anything too personal, he's made quite a few sacrifices in his offline day to day life to make this thing happen, to the point where for a while he was paying the team out of pocket when the IGG funds dried up. If he didn't have that kind of "passion" to see this thing through I wouldn't still be backing him up.

Well congrats Mantis. You still have a job. Hope you get some progress done now that this thing is funded.
