I once read a story with werewolves and now I can't find it. A guy was walking in the woods and noticed a wolf being chased by a hunter. He knocked the hunter out and took the wolf home to take care of him then found out it was a werewolf. He got bit and ended up at the werewolf camp where they said if he went through with the pain he'd live. Something like that and if I remember right they had only four fingers in wolf/human hybrid form. It's a long story and id like to find/read it again please help.
