I just got back from walking our pup, and on the walk she found the scummiest smelliest little river I have ever seen in my LIFE
and of course she went swimming in it, because dogs and bad smells go together like bad smells and a thing that loves bad smells
so I've been trying to towel her down, but she has opted instead to run away and roll around on the carpet doing her "omfg I'm wet and can't get dry" noise and DOG I HAVE A TOWEL RIGHT HERE HELP ME TO HELP YOU
I love this pup so much she is literally the funniest

I used to love how my dog used to help me with the gardening. One of the last times we got to garden together he made *absolutely* sure the plastic netting I was using to protect the lettuces smelled right before I used it, posed in at least 2 different positions on the steps, did a wee in the middle of the lawn and then trotted around with his tail in the air like Alexander the Great looking for new worlds to conquer.
Oh, and then when I'd finished the gardening he celebrated by rubbing his eye on my cheek. I'd take a helpful dog over a trained landscaper any day ;)
