Where would I like to visit?

Let's start off simple. Where would you like to visit in the world? Such a simple question. But what if I did not have such a simple answer. Most people will say places like Paris or Egypt or Japan or maybe even New York, but why? All these places have something in common. The same sights, the same tastes, the same smells, the same sounds, the same feel. None of them feel like the other but they all feel the same. The same attributes day in and day out. But what if there was a place that was different? Always different. Picture a world where you arrived where you wanted simply by picturing the location and taking a few steps. A world where the laws of physics only make sense in your head. A place where colors are not as they smell and sights are not as they sound. Where distance and time are only relevant to the plate in which they dance. Sounds crazy right? Wrong! You've all been there. But most of you chose to leave. "Why would you leave?" you might ask. What could be so glorious about our world that would compel people to leave a world that is theirs to bend to their will. The answer is so simple and yet so complicated, for the answer is logic. People are afraid of mystery and the unknown so they leave, because they can not explain this world. But, the thing is, there are a select few who chose to stay. Who chose to continue visiting this world. And some of them are names you are very familiar with. Now some are wondering where this place is. Is it among the stars? Perhaps it's here on earth, or below it. Or maybe the more amazing conclusion, another dimension. But, you'd all be wrong while at the same time, you'd all be right. This world is so close and yet, for some, it's so far away. This world helps us if we let it. It gives us inspiration, and can shed light on even the darkest of situations. But when people choose to leave, it begins to crumble, to deteriorate, to vanish. And when it does, that person becomes grey. They get set in a routine and are never able to break out of it. For that routine is logical and only logical and it now runs their lives. Now your next question is probably "how do I visit this world? This world that is so chaotic but so easy to control." The answer to that is simple. But to find it you must visit your world. Most of you can still do it but you have to stop looking for the answer, because that's what this world is all about. The answer is not to find the answer, but rather to find the question you should ask. So my question is this, out of all the places I could visit, what place am I talking about?
