Question for artists (quote for large commission)

This guy a friend of mine is working with wants someone that can do a coloring book and needs an artist that'll do a full color cover (probably back cover too) and line art to fill it. How much would the various artists here quote for this kind of commission~?

Well, most artists typically charge quite a bit more for something like a book cover where the commissioner needs the commercial rights to the work and not just the art itself. Something in the range of $100s of dollars or more isn't at all unreasonable, depending on the quality of the art.
