Live live to the fullest, if that means gaining weight, go for it buddy! Don't kill yourself by getting too fat though.

Well, the way i see it is that say you'll try to lose weight and gain instead and make up a reason why you can't lose weight or you can just not mind what he says and do what you want. Gain, lose, it's up to you. Some fat furs tend to gain though as well so none of us would mind if you put on a few as well. I'll be rooting for you if you do! ^^

I envy you though, I WANT to put on weight but can't...

If you want to, go for it. I think it's great having weight on you, just don't get "kill yourself" big, no health problem big.

If you truly want to put on weight, go with what you want most. I know I am by deciding to gain weight.

(If you want the other opinion I have, it's a given for any fat lover: Basically, I would've told you to put on as much weight as possible, I know I'm trying to!)
