what's up

Okay! Finally getting back, for real this time :T
As of this past weekend, according to my records, I have all my old pending work that isn't a comic totally wrapped. Thank you to everyone for being patient with me!
I have two comic things left to work on for clients. One of them is a single page fantasy / tiefling TF, and the other one is a beast of a 5 page comic that is the spiritual sequel to Rubba called "The Protege". I'm currently finishing up inking both of them, and I'm super happy with how they're looking and excited to be able to have some comic stuff to post, again.
A lot of people have asked me what my plans are in terms of re-opening for comms, now that I'm more or less caught up. The honest answer to that is "I don't know". Work is great, but I have so much going on there that I couldn't talk about even if I wanted to (and I do, it's all super good but also very intense) that it's often hard to find the time to come home and work on client stuff.
For the time being, I'm planning on offering small batches of event-based stuff like preposes as time allows. Preposes are great for me with my current schedule because I can get a good chunk of the work done before I've even opened for them. I've been taking these pay on completion because I'm not sure what the turnaround will be, and seriously bless the people who got them because I have had zero issues with that setup. Last time I opened for these, I sold them all via Twitter, so I guess that's the best place to look if you're interested in snagging one. As always, I'm @doctorboda, but I also tweet a lot about my dumb life, so follow me at your own discretion.
I'll be at AC later this summer, but I won't be dealing or doing artists' alley. I'm considering possibly offering a couple of spots of traditional art for pickup/delivery at the con if I have time, so I'll let you guys know if that ends up being the case.
In terms of upcoming projects that aren't commissions, I have two books that I've been working my butt off on:
• The next one to see release will be Classical Conditioning, a collab between me and abeeseedy. CC is the story of a girl who ends up stranded at a lodge in the mountains, where the generous/mysterious owner has lost her precious dog (and if you know us, you know where this is going). Abe wrote the story, and I did the illustrations, so format wise this is pretty much along the same lines as Candybombed, the illustrated story I released last May.
• after that is Atomic; is the sequel artbook to Injection. Atomic is shorter, but much, much more adult, including comic pages and a centerpiece illustrated story. Atomic serves up a ton of different fetishes in addition to TF, from latex and robots, to tentacles and corruption.
That's it! Thanks for reading, guys. I'll do my best to keep updating as things move along. Stay weird! :3

Good luck with everything! :D
