Overall, its a great feeling to go to these things and interact with families, kids and their dogs or other pets. But some moments just stand out more, for better or for worse.

1) When I get a hi-5, fist-bump or a really manly hug from a big, bad-ass muscled guy

2) When a group of giddy college girls surrounds me for photos, and one of them says she wants my babies

4) Whenever grown-ups guess that I am a raccoon, possum, chipmunk and every other mammal on the planet EXCEPT ferret

5) Whenever parents insist on bringing their kids over to meet me, when the child makes it VERY clear that in their eyes, I am the Destroyer of Worlds and will eat them if given the chance
