I don't get it. So many people are dying lately. Not just celebrities. Friends and family as well. This is getting really unsettling, and I'm just not sure how to process it all at this point. There's only so much of this that can happen, before it makes me a conspiracy theorist.

I spoke to my mother. She told me this kind of thing just happens more frequently, the older you get...which is fucking scary. So thanks mom

Well, can't be helped. No immortality. People get old people die. But, we shouldn't be obsessed with the end. We should live our life to the fullest, and worry about the end when it comes. *hugs*
Same here, lost 3 family members (mother, her mother, and my paternal grandfather) since 2010 along with my Dog (since 2006) last month. non of which were quiet natural deaths, and I see memorial emails at work almost every week as well (Granted the building has over 400 people but still), and for people I worked with or knew in the last 3 years. Death death everywhere.

Death is the one thing that everyone must face. Death is a lot harder on the loved ones that the departed leave behind. Please take comfort in the people you still have, and the memory's of those you've lost.

I've been thinking the same a lot recently, especially because many of my friends are older than me- some much older. Its been hitting really close to the heart this year alone.
