i recently found out that one box of the fursuit heads i shipped out had the scent of cigarrette smoke on it....
Thing is, is the people that i live with do smoke yes, but they told me they do it outside, and everytime i see them smoke, i see them go outside. Another thing is, is my materials are kept underlock and key, and the door always closed. Along with materials kept in sealed bins to be protected. But it cant really be helped when the suit head is sitting out on my work desk while being worked on. Idk if this is because the suit head was in my house for about 2 months. i asked another commissioner if their head (which was shipped on the same day) had the smell on it at all and they told me no. But theirs was only in my house for a week or so. So i am thinking it might be because the other heads were in my home for a while ( i was waiting on payment from the person they purchased a premade head) So i waited for payment.
well i came to found out someone has been smoking downstairs in the basement. so i think that the smell traveled through the air vents and spread to the room :( i never smell it in the room , but it might be because i am used to it? idk. I hate cigarettes so i do not smoke.
I have never gotten a complaint about the suits smelling like smoke, but i am happy that it was brought to my attenttion. I am closed atm and will not be opening again till the end of summer, so hopefully by then the "smokers in home" news will be off my TOS and FAQ
i am also sending this journal out to my current commissioners to let them know that this has been brought to my attention.
