Are a species of creature that are essentially the spiritual remains of restless souls. They exist for one main purpose which varies between the individual banshein. usually this purpose is the reason why their soul remains restless. When and if ever that purpose is fulfilled is when their existence is no longer required and they finally fade away to rest in peace.
Visual Qualities of a Banshien:

every banshein can fabricate their full figure ONLY in the presence of a unique anima varying from each individual banshein. This unique anima must exist in the world of the living and is essentially their owner. Their anchor.

"A very particular single living soul that become’s its "anchor" back into a physical form."

If not in the presence of their anchor they can only fabricate particular parts of their form while the rest of their body fades away into stringy remnants of what their body was.

Each banshein has 2 limbs that resemble wings on their body. They are usually located on their backs however there are instances when the location of these wings differ.

The word banshein is derived from the words banshee and canine however not all banshein are found to have canine like features. It was some years after the official naming of this species did scientists and researchers realize there were more types of banshein that were similar in every way described but did not resemble the outer appearance of canines. (aka i just wanted more freedom with the species)
