I would recomend  lucky_cai , he did an excellent job on my ref, is really good at felines and is within your price range methinks and also is from new brunswick!

Oh, wow I didn't know they did ref sheets! I met them at the NSFWTFBBQ last Summer and they were a wonderful person-they've actually already done an awesome head shot of the character I'd like the sheet for as well.

Scully! So wonderful to hear from you! I got your email too and I'll write back unfortunately things are pretty bad for me. I have the same painful, terminal condition my twin sis(Kazamidori) had and it's getting to the end of my time.

I would be SO HONOURED if you would do Duke's ref sheet. I just hope you wouldn't mind me being a little picky with the details. He's not a super complex character or anything- I just want to get a good ref that shows him markings so my commissions can be a little more consistently accurate.

I'm just worried I might not be able to afford your prices. :/ Could you give me a quote for front pose, back pose and front on face view? I might nix the front on face view to bring down the cost (and use some of the other head shots I have plus my own to make a ref collage).

I don't mind you being detailed or picky at all, especially understanding where you're coming from because I'm a horrible perfectionist myself lol! You just tell me exactly what you want and how you want me to do it! How much are you looking to spend? I recently just brought my PC laptop back from the dead so I can do either digital or traditional media, whichever you prefer! I'm really flexible so I'm sure we can work something out and you're a dear friend, so I'd be more than happy to cut the price down. ;)

Oh, I'm sorry to upset you!!
I'm actually pretty at peace with it all, They gave me 5-7 years based on brain scans and the bone marrow situation, I'm into 6 months pas t that time so I'm hanging in there! No intention to keel over yet but I'm in End of Life care programme which is kind of like pre-pallative.
Things aren't so bad, though my only real complaint is a lot of daily pain and now I'm legally blind it makes everything tough! I haven't lost all my vision yet, and for a while it looked like I would so I'm lucky to still be able to see somewhat. I have a great service dog, he keeps me from getting run over, and me from running into the side of trucks at crosswalks. :P Giving up my driver's license was or a absolutely awful, though. I hated that, I had a tough time dealing with it. Also hoping to go back to University sometime if I live long enoigh to do so. With my eyes bad I can't do my old job of Forensic Accounting, so going to go into law. My problem with school is that I'm on such heavy duty immune-surpressants bacause of bone marrow disease that it dangerous to be in a classroom with so man people. Luckily so many courses are offered online these days that I should be able to get most of what I need that way.

So I have a nice dog, and a significant other who stands by me through it all. I'm lucky to also have a wonderful family, and awesome friends, too. Life's not too shabby!
I'm still an optimist though, I'm getting a new fursuit head in the next few months. *L* I really do like my old head but the mane just wasn't right for EN.

I miss Kaza so much, even after all this time. It's still there hurting everyday. I still miss her all the time. All these years have made it something I can cope with, but it still hurts.

I was thinking between $50 and $100, and I think digital so people can cut and past the colours, seems to be easiest for artists.
If that price range is not enough for the back and front shot and the head shot(since his face markings are what people usually goof up), then I'll leave off the head shot.
I'm going to make a collage type image for all his lab and scene gear so don't worry about that.
Actually maybe you could do the images for the sheet I coukld do the text? That might be easier.

Aww EN I'm so sorry to hear about what you are and have been going through but you have an amazing support system! That's so awesome, I'm so happy to know that you're doing so well despite the odds. Optimism and being positive is so important; put positive energy out into the world and you shall receive it back! Good luck with university classes-I love school; if I could go to school for a living I would! Online classes are pretty fun, you're going to do great with those if that's what you end up choosing. :)

I don't spend a lot of time on art communities where I don't know anyone anymore, and TLKFAA definitely meets that stipulation. That's why I decided to be more active here-because there are so many people who I know from my TLKFAA art days and who I love and adore still, such great memories!

I'm beyond excited to do this reference sheet! I'll do it however you want-I can definitely do just the images if you want to add the text. And I can do whatever poses front and back as well as a head shot if you'd like too. I'm pretty perfectionistic and detailed so I'm sure I can accurately depict his special markings. :) That's what I like about drawing others' characters most of the time! How does $80 sound to you for everything that you'd like?

If you just wanted to do the images and then I could arrange them and add the text and colour chart, etc. would that be okay?

He really only has a few markings- the face stuff which I'm the most of stickler about and then one marking on his back, plus a smattering of spots. Nothing too stressful, I hope.

I have to admit, not sure why I'd be an inspiration to anyone, I spent so much of life so cranky and judgemental. It was after Kaza passed and so many people had such fond memories of her, even the little shrine with photos and notes at her work. All the comments had the same thread: how kind she was, how willing to help even though towards the end things were so hard for her and she suffered so much pain. I decided I better to a hard look at myself and why I was just so...impatient and cranky with the world. I can't say I'm 100% on fixing those things but I've honestly tried the last few years- loosing my sight has certainly humbled me a lot!

Different Drum actually made it to the pre-production phase with an animation studio-animation channel in-house studio here in Canada, back when that channel went through a phase focusing on creating more mature audience cartoons, but sadly out co-production studio went bust very early on and that was the end of that.

Yes ma'am $80 it is! I can definitely do the images so you can arrange them however you please. On that note, would you like separate images on a plain white background, or transparent GIF images? What do you prefer so that it will be super easy for you to arrange later? And would you prefer flat color or full shading and highlights?
Duke looks pretty simple to draw-I did note his facial markings as I was looking through the images others have drawn of him.

You have inspired me over the years because of your consistency and courtesy to other artists. You always uphold yourself so humbly but you voice your opinions strongly and respectfully. And I just have so many fond memories of when I first started exploring online art communities that involve you, Mirri, AirGuitar, Spiritwolf77, Tassy, Krystal...I feel good inside when I reconnect with people I have such wonderful memories with.
