Wow! Limbo Wallpapers seem to be a hit! So glad to see that you guys like these. I thought it was a super neat idea, myself.

So, I figured I'd add a little FAQ about them, to answer some stuff I'm getting asked a bunch.

Am I still taking commissions for these?
Yes! You bet! They're only available during Wednesday Night stream events (for now), but if you can't make a show, there are options. If you leave a note when you order one, and pay ahead of time, I can get it done during the stream whether you're there or not. And then, you'll have something real neat to wake up to Thursday morning.

How do I get one?

Do you make the backdrops and stuff yourself?
Sure do! Everything about these is created by hand. I make myself templates ahead of time to make production quick. Paint the backgrounds, create the lighting effects, noodle around with overlays for an added effect, and sort them all so they can be applied on the fly to get just the right look for each piece. It's a labour of love that I'm quite proud of.

What gave you the idea for these?
The art style in the game Limbo is absolutely stunning. I thought it would be neat to draw one of my monster characters in the style of a screenshot from it, and got real carried away from there. And now I'm sure glad I did. These are a blast to do.

$15 for a wallpaper?! But wallpapers are usually so expensive!
Here's where the fun part comes in! As I mentioned earlier, I've created a template that makes these a lot easier to do than they otherwise would be. The backgrounds, the lighting, the effects.. All made ahead of time. Because of this, I can do them quickly, and therefore not charge too much at all. Which makes them a real kickin' option for folk who would love to have a wallpaper but can't afford ridiculously huge commissions. Everyone wins!

I have a different idea for a background! Can you do it?
I'm gonna be adding a whole bunch of background options over time, and love getting suggestions for fresh new ideas. Throw one at me and I might just do it! Buuuut.. I can't really do custom backgrounds for individual wallpapers, and not charge a lot more. The reason these are so cheap is because they're simple and quick for me. So, yes and no. I can't do a new one during a show, but maybe ahead of time if it's an idea I can use a bunch.
