Freedom of Form: an evolution revolution

It has been nigh on five years since the idea of Vulpine Designs Unlimited first came to me. Over that time, its purpose and function have morphed and moulded to better fit my understanding of what will be needed to get us where we want to go.

We have gathered many contacts and friends along the way, and some of them run their own businesses, some of those decided to stick with us to help us reach our goals. As a result, Vulpine Designs went from being a sole trader Lego model design business to a loose network of small business and non-profit entities sharing a common aim: Freedom of Form. As things currently stand:

is pursuing the idea of Lego-like reconfigurability enabling the reprogramming of living things, the research and development of methods to do this and the overarching concept of Freedom of Form: an evolution revolution. That is to say, we will change the course of evolution itself, forever, in a manner that is for the benefit of all and is open-source, never to be purloined by those who would use such technologies for greed and war.

is pursuing the idea of a free media and a free market for the real people, for their freedoms constitutionally and morally, the creation of a media outlet that actually serves to inform and help the people and to be fair and use common sense; to help the overarching concept of Freedom of Form to have somewhere to be kept safe from the ravages of greed and corruption and to keep its employees in house and home.

is pursuing mastery of virtual reality environment design, construction and scripting, the freedom of virtual world residents from paid content being the definition of their experience, the proliferation and utilisation of free content and its integration into an open-source system separate of corporate monopolies. Enabling Freedom of Form in the virtual media and the use of such systems as a base for unorthodox interface research in conjunction with Vulpine Designs Unlimited.

Fawkes & Wulfe Armory, Weaver, Alabama, USA:
is pursuing the American dream of the right to bear arms and to defend oneself and one's property. The sister company of Lupa Vulpa Corporation, it uses 3D computer aided design and manufacture techniques to fabricate high precision instruments of defence with care and respect. As advocates of responsible gun ownership, they recognize that America and many other parts of the world would benefit heavily from stronger firearm education and common sense; they have the viewpoint that Firearms have more expression than death and can be tools of art and sport just as a baseball bat, or a soccer ball.

Mental Faculties - comedy/farce set in a bizarre dysfunctional university in the equally dysfunctional town of Easthampton in County Up. Has various guest voice actors but mainly focuses around the university radio station, hosted by 'Garry' and 'Steve'. Contains a mixture of high-IQ and low-IQ humour.

The Dorset Constructorium, Poole, Dorset, UK:
is a hackerspace getting started in the Bournemouth and Poole area (see www.hackerspaces.org for a definition of what a hackerspace is). Pursuing community-based sharing of skills and education, this non-profit organisation seeks to holistically combine all sorts of interests, ranging from computing and software, through bicycle maintenance, sewing, networks, sports, hobbies, crafts and citizen science (eg. DIYBio). Currently meeting in pubs and a shed.

is a subsidiary of Vulpine Designs Unlimited dedicated to holistic renewable energy ideas. Allowing freedom of form styles of thinking into energy generation concept design, exploring mundane places to consider how they can become efficient productive centres of sustainable generation, transmission and storage.
