The Rumors of my Death Are Greatly Exaggerated

Hey, folks, just thought I'd confront this little issue I keep seeing:
There is nothing anyone, ever, has said about me, the comic, or my art--or anything even--that made me stop inking the comic. Seriously.
That the admins deleted my thread on FChan does not raise my ire in the least. They were doing the best they could to uphold their new laws. I hold absolutely *nothing* against them, you silly people. They're just doing their job.
The reason, seriously, that it's not finished, is that I have a real life that has nothing to do with porn, much less incest porn. I have real commitments like work, and school, and my mental health to consider. The reason the comic isn't finished is two-fold:
1) The incredible amount of time it takes to ink and color even to the rudimentary state it's already in is far more time than I'd like to invest, currently, for a completely unpaid project.
2) I just haven't been feeling it. That's part of the reason you see no new porn here. The muse or whatnot is off doing other things (probably jacking off in her room without me, the saucy minx). I dunno, it's just not high enough priority.
While I love you people dearly, I have to pay the rent, by doing actual things that pay actual money.
On the other hand, I had someone offer to commission the comic to be finished, and while I doubt they'll take me up on the offer, it'd be $400 to finish the comic. (Reduced rate even.) The time it takes is rather hefty. If someone commissioned the comic, the whole thing would be digitized and free for everyone else, forever.
My suggestion is, if you guys really want it that much, get together or something. I don't know. I do promise if you paid for it, it would get done, and well. I'd find a way.
Anyways. Figured I'd throw that out there. Honestly, I personally find it a laughable idea, but then the furry fandom has been known for its rather surprising resourcefulness. Who knows?
So yes. Summation of the above: no one made me angry, I don't feel ridiculed, I have a life that needs money, and the comic ain't bringing me any. But it could!

Nikora, sounds like you have the right attitude. Draw what you want, and don't draw what you don't. The same furs I mentioned will vilify someone if they don't get what they want, figuring that they can get their way if they throw a virtual temper tantrum.
I for one enjoyed your comic and the effort you made towards it. I think the story's sweet and sexy and it doesn't matter if the rest of the comic isn't finished. The story is there and that's all I need.
Seriously, if people show interest in this idea, my mate will set up a donation paypal thingy or something. *shrugs* It's an idea worth mentioning.
Luckily, I live near a nursing home...plenty of old ladies to mug. >.>

But seriously, so few people posting and only through the 2 days after this journal was posted? The beginning of 2009? This can't be. There's got to be more fans. Maybe this journal is frozen in time?
But yeah, expression of interest in that PayPal donation idea. One and three-quarters years after this journal stopped being discussed.
Also, discovered your work on g.e-hentai (or more specifically the fjords while digging for treasure). I do like it though, as decent straight stories (even non-pornographic) are extremely difficult to find, as a vast majority of the furry community is well... gay.
