Writing Ideas and Notices - Need Opinions!

ONE:
So I'm thinking about doing something: an episodic writing that ends with a decision or an open-ended prompt polling the viewers (you lads) for suggestions for the character to do. I'll pick the one I like, is most voted for, or at random. :3
I was thinking of many different stuffs. I have a ton of universes that I could use:
An unofficial GXC:Starlight one. (Hard low sci-fi, anthros and humans.)
A pair of medieval ones. (Low fantasy.)
The Istana campaigns. (High fantasy. Medieval. Anthros, ferals, magical/fantasy beings, and humans.)
Metropolis. (High Science Fantasy. Anthros, humans, aliens.)
Content advisories are for violence/blood, maybe language, suggestive themes. Plus whatever happens afterward. I doubt anything too suggestive or too sexual will ever happen.
Thoughts? Ideas?
Should we decide a few characters and storylines? Should we have a few player-made characters? First-person, third-person, second-person? Journals or submissions?
I might do this weekly on a regular schedule. Or twice a week. Or something. Anyway, I want it to be fun or audience-involved.
TWO:
I've been offered a position to write weekly for a Christian page here on FA. I don't know if I should or not. Do you guys think I would be good for it?

FA+

Two: Absolutely! You are perfect for the position to write for such a thing. I say go for it.
"Istana is an RP World set on a fictional planet. Istana itself is an archipelago spanning 5854 miles from corner to corner. It has eight countries/kingdoms and is filled with normal and fantastical elements like crystal forests, magic, and other dimensions.
The story of Istana is one of political conflict, leading into war on the scale of the continent. Failed trade agreements, failure to accept responsibility for the actions of citizens, and sabotage have lead to the greatest war the archipelago has ever seen. While the war has not progressed beyond border skirmishes and declarations of war, the enlistment and use of magickal agents has encouraged all political units to sabotage or investigate one another." - My site.
Istana is the only Role-Play world that I actually developed purely for role-playing. I have a series of maps that really don't do the world justice. It has a combination of cultures and languages. There are three major dimensions of existence: a Void, the Æther, and then Reality, the normal world for creatures like us. The Void is a timeless* existence filled with random bits of matter and holds the pathways for Slipstones (basically fast travel waypoints). The Æther is special, so I'll just quote a character's description:
Pete wrote:Reality exists with physical attributes that are permanently defined- how each particle in existence behaves with one another. Magic is from the Void, which is why its effects on reality are so strong. On the other side of the Void, though, magic itself is transfused with matter, causing it to behave erratically. There are things like warpdoors**, interpenetrating planes of existence, and an undefined number of creatures and societies.
We think of space and universe as a hollow container with floating dots that represent us. But, in the Aether, it's just flat planes of existence that cross over one another or break or intersect.
The Æther itself is a dangerous place for anything from Reality to go to. Ætherial creatures, however, cross over into the Void or into Reality all the time. The Void itself sometimes mends with Reality, forming Crystal deposits and Crystalline life.
If I were to use Istana as this story, I think I'll do an Agent storyline like I designed the universe for. Maybe I would give a description of the nations and their missions, have yous alls pick one out and I would start there. Maybe I'd roll up a character. Maybe not.
I have one person interested in Metropolis as well.
RE: Two
Thanks.
Bring on the PG13. Is that a knife in your pocket... eh nevermind. *Runs and hides.*
I'd be up for rolling a character if you want me to. Person. Hmmm. Whichever. I'll try to stay in whichever is chosen. I make no promises.
I suppose what I'm saying is you tell me when and I'll play.
Two: I think I'd be disappointed if you turned down the opportunity.
*Hugs and Nuzzles*
Me.
And all the PG-13. :P
I'm pretty set on doing an episodic series with audience-decided decisions. Once a week, maybe, while doing the weekly writings for the page, I suppose.
I'll do it in Writing submission format (the story), so it'll be more open. At the same time, however, I'm going to put priority on my friends and those willing to take the series seriously.
I'll keep you updated.
*Gives all the loves.*
And yes, you should do the weekly thing. You'd be good. Really good. You know what you think and communicate it well.
Decisive enough?
We can talk RP's soon.
I mean keep it without cutting eyeballs out and I'll be ok xD
For sure keep it 3rd person - easiest to read x3
Two - sure you would. You're smarty pants fox - Just try not to make all readers irritated xD be gentle with articles at least at start xD
Thanks for you opinion.
And about number two: I have a serious issue with doing that. I'm just not good at it. :P "Gentle." Psh.
Another vote for Istana.
See a comment above (to Dyvinex) if you haven't already. There's a little bit more there.
Should we decide a few characters and storylines?
Depends on what you're good at writing, I've seen both done well, though the former tends to be a slower intro due to it taking time for the reader to determine who is who and what is going on, so, i suppose, better suited for long stories, especially the ones where you have alternating chapters revolving around different characters.
Should we have a few player-made characters?
If we go with multiple main characters, can there be a feral one? :D -bias- XD
First-person, third-person, second-person?
I tend to have a hard time reading first person stories, with all the I's and me's in the narration.
Journals or submissions?
Submissions, no hesitation in that answer whatsoever, Journals cannot be faved, nor are they as easy to find, you can't tag them nor can the readers "bookmark" them like a fav, to keep track of them.

Depends, do what's good for you, and for the page. I've seen several christian groups in the fandom go bad, but, at te same time, its no reason to hide from them, I imagine that you'd right rather logical takes on things, so you may or may not go well with an emotional based page, you may clash, but, you may also provide a refreshing contrast.
I think I'll go with one storyline, maybe add another down the line.
Going with single, and sorry, there aren't any feral main characters in this one, sorry. Doesn't mean there aren't ferals, though. Just be patient.
I'm going with Third person.
Yup, doing submissions, in parts.
And I'll be writing with a group that I know doesn't let emotion into their logic. And I'm an evidentialist.
