Art has been sluggish [TMI/Medical/Slight Rant]
and here's why:
I've been making some journals lately about my insides hurting and such. Well, Monday I couldn't take it anymore. It had been hurting constantly and getting worse over the weekend. I had Snowy run me to Urgent Care to figure out what was going on. My normal IBS medication my physician gave me was no longer working, even with the increased dosage.
After being poked and prodded for a bit, the doctor thinks I have some type of infection in my colon. ;^; Not any type of emergency right now, but he said if it keeps getting worse then I need to go to the ER. He wasn't able to do any type of testing to pinpoint what exactly is causing me so much pain. On the bright side, he gave me new medication that is stronger than what my physician gave me...and upon further research, actually fits my needs better than what my physician keeps pushing at me. What I was given was for peptic ulcers, not IBS or anxiety-caused digestive issues.
I'll probably be switching doctors for that reason.
This new medication works great, but the pain still seeps through every now and again, but not nearly as bad as before. It picks back up in full-force after the medication wears off. I was able to schedule an appointment with a gastroenterologist next week, I'm just hoping I can last that long. I'm back to work for now since I can't really afford to use anymore vacation time...and absolutely miserable. I keep having to run back and forth to the bathroom because of the pain, uncontrollable gas, and the fear of puking from feeling nauseous. The worst part about it is that I'm by myself at work filling-in for my manager's mistake. They gave off two people with overlapping shifts by accident so I was asked to come in earlier, working 3pm-midnight. Between 4pm and 11pm, I'm by myself here and I'm not that familiar with a lot of the systems still...so when something breaks, I have a tendency to get stressed out, which makes my pain spike, medication or not. So far this has happened a few times since yesterday. I'm pretty sure no one likes being in this type of pain. The pain has slowly started to creep up on my right side as well...I just hope the infection isn't spreading everywhere if that happens to be the case.
TL;DR: Between the stress of my job and the pain I'm dealing with, I haven't really felt up to working on art lately...which really stresses me out even more since I can't get stuff done. >_<"

Do hope get well soon there
I've been starting to keep a little medical journal of when I take my medications, when I start feeling pain, how long it lasts, etc so it'll hopefully help the gastro next week if there's some sort of pattern.
and thank you. :3
