There will be always warriors and war, maybe, and there were always been. But Cortana forgot one thing, that Halo has been hinting at: The Mantle of Responsibility.
The future might be uncertain, and the path may be morbid. But I believe, humanity will once uncover one very ancient secret in the universe. One that has been waiting for us to be ready. Ready to embrace it. To understand it. And to take responsibility for making it real, into being. To get there... takes courage, patience, responsibility. This world through which we wander, is wonderful and strange. The only truth we can really know... IS that everything will change.
And in the end, we are all parts of "The Grand Design", or rather... Destiny. Even if it involves many, many wars, death after death, sacrifice after sacrifice... The universe is dangerous and mysterious. The only way to truly understand it, is to walk the path awaiting us, curious but cautious. To experiment with all it's parts, and study each molecule, develop the tools to colonize, terraform.... and conquer worlds beyond human imagination...
