After a night of watching rain smack against the window pane, Avandth made her way down stairs, but rather bumped into a large, bulky figure that caught her with such ease and set her back down on her paws. When she met the eyes of her mother's master, she blushed softly and bowed her head in shame.
"M-my apologies, sir. I di-," Avandth stopped when she felt his nose brush her cheek and he chuckled. "Don't worry about it, darling. It was just an accident. I'm here to see your mother, is she around?" He asked, tilting her chin up with his claw. Ava shook her head slowly and her ears dropped when she saw the disappointment in his face. She knew it wasn't toward her, but she didn't like to see him upset, so instead of just walking away, she took his paw and lead him back down the stairs into the living room.
"Would you like some tea, sir? I can mix in some vodka, the way you like it." Avandth smiled shyly and he gave her a crooked smile and a nod. "Very well." Avandth beamed with joy and walked toward the kitchen. After a few minutes, she had the tea all ready and on a silver tray when her mother burst through the door and flew herself on the ground in front of her master's paws. Avandth poked her head around the corner and saw Dominic rise to his paws and look toward her. "It's sad that it seems your daughter is more worthy of a pet than you are, Jasmine." He said and held out his paw to her. Avandth smiled gently and stepped forward, taking his paw and he pulled her to his chest. "If only you weren't so young, darling... Thank you for the tea."
Avandth nodded with a small smile, but she could feel her mother's eyes burning into the back of her head. Quickly, she turned around and walked back toward the stairs when she felt someone smack the back of her head. "Keep your filthy paws off my master!!" Her mother screamed and Avandth whipped around, getting in her face while spiked began to grow out of her back. "You want to talk with filthy? Who knows how many dicks your hands have been on! You do not talk to me like I'm a little whore, because that's your job, not mine." She spat and turned back around, her spikes shrinking back down as she walked up the stairs. She could hear her mother hissing with hatred, but she didn't care. It was time to leave this place...

"Excuse me... but I'm here for the condo on the top floor. I'm Miss Grimsbane." Avandth said, holding out the ad she had found in the paper at the bus station. The manager nodded and grabbed the keys and headed toward the elevator. She knew she would get it in a heart beat. The building was owned by her family anyway. The manager trapped his paw while they waited to get to the top. He was actually very decent looking. A panther with dark violet eyes and bright purple markings. He was also polite as he showed her around, indicating that the place had just been opened yesterday due to remodeling to make it more... stylish. It had a sleek modern look to it, but also such elegance of a mansion. The wall that overlooked the rest of the city was made of glass, and you could push it open to walk out into a large terrace with a pool and chairs.
The kitchen was almost the size of the living room and was already furnished with things she would need to cook. Upstairs there was three bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom, but the master bedroom was the largest. The bed was surrounded by curtains for privacy and you could change the window scenery to any scene you would like. The place was marvellous... and after signing a few papers and paying the first year's rent, it was hers.
After unpacking her things, she sat down by the pool and over looked the city. It... wasn't what she had expected, to be honest. Most of it was small houses and parks, but there was downtown that was lit up like a laser show with all different colors. Just add she was about to jump into the pool, there was a buzz in her living room. When she entered,a video call popped up on the glass.
"Miss Grimsbane, you have a visitor. He says he's here on business."
Avandth sighed and waved her paw in the air. "Send him up and let him know I'll be in the pool." The panther nodded and the video call ended. Avandth pulled off her shirt and dropped it on one of the chair and jumped into the Crystal clear water, the icy water sending chills all over her body. She floated at the bottom when a blurry figure appeared st the surface. When she surfaced, Avandth was face to face with a large Dragon in a t-shirt and jeans. She snickered and pulled herself out while she sorted. "Kroeker, I suspect you have my money, now don't you." She said as she sat and crossed her legs. He sat next.to her and nodded before pulling out a wad of cash rubber-banded together.
"Good." She said and walked into the living room and pulled open one of the book shelves and inside were plants and boxes full of other drugs that the building was harboring. She got a small baggie and handed it to him and he smiled. "Thank you, Grimsbane. Good doing business with you." Avandth nodded and closed the bookcase.
"Enjoy yourself Kroeker."
