Brilliant day.. Managed to get all of my work done in the first quarter of the shift with the prime example of teamwork. Some of the best I have ever encountered. Finished my day and drove home and worked with my uncle doing some home maintenance. I fixed his leaf blower and created a new tool for him to use while roofing so he can save his back. Finished up with some routine shoe polishing then headed to Wendy's for dinner. Now this is the best part, some lady and her husband are "eating" their meals. They are the the pinnacle of the worst type of people out there.. First off the wife couldn't stop complaining about stupid things about the food like "crispy chicken not being crispy enough" or the meat being too soft, over and over again after being served a multitude of fresh made wraps and sandwiches. Secondly, Wendy's has a position for the "front of house" things like cleaning, bussing and frontline service. This young girl, who is doing an excellent job gets bitched at for cleaning... Really!? The wife kept spouting on and on about how the girl sprayed cleaner into her food and was over spraying all over the place into her face and how she should be just spritzing into a terry cloth and trying to get the cleaner into the air.. I felt so bad for her.. She was almost going to cry because of some loathe some self consumed old clot who has no appreciation for the people who are actually trying to do their job and are doing a fantastic job. I could tell that over heated drama got to both me and my uncle because he basically yelled at the girl who was cleaning, telling her how good of a job she was doing and what having a clean establishment really means to someone especially when they have seen what it is like to live in poverty and too see people struggle day in and day out to feed their families or to enjoy a simple luxury of a hot meal. Some people don't like this lady don't realize is that there are people less fortunate, and to them something like Wendy's or anywhere else that is cleaned and maintained is a rare treat. You truly never know what you had until you lost it. I hope people will someday grasp the simple things in life and learn to share the world as it should be with all inhabiting life because honestly it's people like that that make me hate the world more and more.
