I had a similar problem a few years ago, I'm actually in the US, so I'm not sure what the cause was, but I lost around fifty dollars because no payments were coming through, I eventually had to make a new Paypal because they never gave me any support.

There was a stupid PayPal rule that you can't send more than $10USD (or some amount low like that) overseas, and I'm sure that's what's happening to you. You'd have to get a business account, to overcome that limitation, unless you didn't really fully verify with PayPal that they put this restriction on your account.

Seriously? But before that, everything was great and the people are sending me different amounts and there were no restrictions. :C

It's very possible that is the reason. The problem is that paypal is notoriously for locking accounts, blocking payments, etc without any explanation and then being beyond difficult to work with to fix the problem.

I wish you luck with this for certain but it might also be a good time to explore other means of accepting payment.

I've thought about it. But paypal still the most popular electronic payment system in the world, and mostly people will use it.
In general, I've heard that a quite many of payment systems have a practice of blocking account without explanation.

Might be worth while looking into bitcoin. Coinbase makes the whole process pretty easy, although I don't know how well it works with Russian bank accounts.

And accidentally stuck on your journal, so as far as i know from my friends in russia, the payments which are done with debit and there is no full information listed about you, you are considered as anonymous user (quite unsure how paypal treats the users) which ongoing and incoming payments for month cannot exceed 980usd, those changes are made I think to restrict the anonymous payments outside of us or euro union, security reasons thought. You might ask paypal for the account restrictions for russia, I think it is not an issue, but an intentional made change in their policy.

You just need to attach the bank card to your account and go through the verification, so your status should be "verified". Probably because of Paypal policy unverified users are not allowed to send and receive payments.

Oh that is pretty nice, thought here we cannot use it at all if card is not verified so i was totally in the dark with such issues until we had a conversation about.
