It's not just you. I've been having a really hard time despite putting out multiple ads a day. I haven't been getting any comments on my art either, which is a little unusual.

Not sure, I made a journal about it a couple days ago thinking it wasn't just me, but everyone said they didn't notice anything. Lol. Maybe everyone's getting ready/saving money for Anthrocon? That's my best guess.

see anthrocon doesnt really exist here. in the UK the only cons we really pay attention to are ConFuzzled, Scotiacon and EF. =x

hm yeah that's true I have noticed it's rather quiet around here lately (i dunno iif that's cause I've been away or what) but all I can suggest is just keep advertising :C

There's also EF around the corner too, I know that's why Im saving. That and having a four legged friend coming home soon.

Yeah, it's happening to a lot of people lately. It's definitely AnthroCon happening in a couple weeks [July 3rd to 6th], so a lot of people are still saving up for it.

If you are in need of quick cash, you can probably offer cheap doodles.

A lot of people are having trouble. Also it seems like its a bad financial year for folks ... Taxes for those of us in the US were really brutal for a lot of people due to some law changes (I ended up owing like 10,000 ... I was taxed on money I lost if you can beleive that!) so I think some folks are still recovering from that (I know I am!!!!) then con season now :(

I don't think it's you, I think everybody is just really tight on money recently. I basically never get commissions because I just started so I wouldn't know how many I'm supposed to be getting. I think it's really just the economy being stupid. :< I hope you get some more soon here though!

Whoa... Recesion in furry fandom ? That aounds terrible On diferent note of it I see the furry market been flooded with a lot of new artists. I personally picking art and commisions based on stile and if I needsomething done.
How do I choose artist is based on watches and if i do like or inspire me the art in artist galery and make me want him/her to commision.

Something to consider is the recent move to doing online streaming where customers can see their commissions being done in real time while interacting with the artists. It's a chance for their art being drawn to also be shown to everyone, giving the customer a thrill as well. There is also no wait of days or weeks or months to get your commission done. You see it done, right now, right there, and even get a chance to have some input on the picture as it's being drawn.

If you're not already streaming, you might try it out. Of course I like  tigerdile and never lack for commissions. I cannot meet the demand there. I thought with more and more artists streaming that the market would dry up, but it turns out it just attracts more and more commissioners. Streaming solo is okay, but fans really like to hear the artist talking with other artists whom are also streaming at the time. It's like a behind the scenes pic at what artists talk about when they are doing artwork. If you stream solo with music, that's fine, but people really do want to hear from the artist during the stream. Perhaps the least successful method is to do art while streaming some movie or other video content since that distracts people from the art being created.

Streaming is where it's at these days. My fans have demonstrated that to me.

Aww, I think things have just become quiet all over, as I've been seeing it quite a bit for the little bits of time I have been able to get online. I'm guessing its because summer is here and everyone is out and about with things. hehe But definitely, you have done nothing wrong. You are an amazing artist, and I absolutely love the art pieces I have got from you. I'd love to commission you again, and kept checking your status. I think I must have missed the commission open journals, as I haven't been very active online lately, and just thought your commissions were still on hold. hehe I hope the commissions soon start coming in again for you. :)
