i would love to see that ^^ and maybe the aspects of your suit like everyone always sees the cool outside but you dont really see whats going on on the inside. and hm maybe like if you have any tips that would be good like keeping cool, hydrated etc

Ooh, I'd never thought of that, that's a great idea! I have two suits heads I could do that with. Also keeping cool could probably be its own episode XD Thanks for the suggestions!

No problemo! And I agree with the person below me like I worked as the mascot at a pre-k thru middle school level school and I still never understood working with kids. For me I'm usually just scared about accidentaly stepping on one of them so I avoid contact but getting advice on that would be great!

I think a lot of suiters should know how to handle frightened children. It's rare, but it happens, and a good suiter can nip any fear in the bud with some good strategizing and knowing how to react when a child runs away and/or cries.

Also something I noticed at a volunteer event I didn't really think about is to never make sudden, twitchy or lunging movements with children. I accidently freaked out a little girl (who I didn't even see, since she was out of my view range) by lunging out and I guess it looked like I was gonna grab her suddenly. It spooked her a bit but I was able to make her laugh again and all was well.

I agree! Most of what we do is with kids, but I hardly ever hear it mentioned in performance panels, and when I do it's brief. And yeah, I've had an experience like that as well when I first started, it's one of those things that's really hard to gauge.
