I know here in the USA we have "democracy" however, it doesn't feel like it, I'm aware that we vote for who is president, but the president never really speaks for the people, he speaks for the religion of the people. As all Americans "should" know, we are to separate church and state, however most voters are of religion, and thus they vote for the one who doesn't separate them. This is dangerous as it will eventually lead to many negative things portrayed in the comic above. Censorship, in the net, we already almost witnessed this, with some previous acts that the government has tried to pass. Yet, if we really let it continue, the net will be the least of our worries in the censorship district, our thoughts will be policed, and it will most likely lead to humans who are actually drones, mindless and wondering about just preaching what the government tells them, and it will have the contrast, of free thinkers who will revolt, and it will lead to a war between the government and the people.
It's, a very scary thought really, we should stop it before its to late, it's a shame only the rich make it into office, the rich who know nothing about the lower class.
It distresses me that, that is the current standing.

What I always tell people is, Even though its a separation of church and state it doesn't mean that we do things that make it hard for peoples religions.

OP
Well of course we shouldn't make it hard for people to practice their religion. I just believe that they shouldn't vote based on how religious a politician is
