Update on life
Heyo!
Lets maybe start off with the basics, if there is such thing.
Months ago..
Living with my parents, I see my sisters every day. One sister, Patricia, the middle child started limping and became in pain. We took her to the emergency room, got sent back with pain meds and was told to stretch do yoga or something. 2 weeks later, it had worsened. We took her back and was told to take her to a LA Pediatric Clinic. We took her, said it was mental and muscle. Sent home with pain meds. We took her back again that week, and was told she was anorexic and sent her to Children's Hospital LA. They scanned her and found a baseball sized tumor attached to her spinal cord that had grown quickly. They immediately went in to take samples of the tumor after scanning her lungs and finding small nodules there too. They tested it and the biopsy results came back with, "Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor". A cancerous form of NF1 (neurofibromatosis). With this began her chemo. Over her hospitalization she's had 2 surgeries and is pending a 3rd and has had 3 rounds of chemo on her 4th and has 22 days left of radiation.
That is my sisters side.. During this time, my Grandmother, Nana, related to her, having been with cancer, survived it, and then re-diagnosed. A month after Patricia's hospitalization, Nana went back into the hospital. After her long sufferings, she died June 10th 2014.
The first month my sister was in the hospital, we went to CPS to help us prepare for Patricia's eventual arrival to home. We were met with a court case for them to take custody of her. They gained temporary custody and are pending the final hearing for full custody. While she's been in the hospital they have non-stop tried to remove her, hide her away and put her in a non-medical facility, which would kill her for being exposed to an un-sterilized environment and not having the medical facility needed for her weak state to survive the chemo and radiation.
I have run thin with patience for the youngest, Stephanie. The stories of bullies starting at home are true. She has wished much more than just death upon me and all other family members and constantly wishes to be taken away or killed. I have never met a more selfish child in my life.
My father is selfish too, he has only visited Patricia once, to meet a doctor in the first month of her being there, and has asked my mom to work at her old job, (they own a business) which she has since left and has never given her money to eat or stay at the hospital or the Ronald McDonald Charity Home for her or Stephanie, or me.
I left the Charity Home to stay at my Aunts today, with better time on my hands I write this update. My plans are to move to Colorado, get a job and be away from this stress. I've lost weight, though needed, it wasn't in a healthy way.
I'm not asking you to donate my way, I just thought you'd like to know, for those who wanted to anyway..
