As you know I don't really buy commissions but perhaps one day in the future you and I can undertake another trade. I've always been curious as to how you'd do with a full on rendition of a Lusairdae, I truly do think you'd nail it. And now that I'm coloring regularly and not too badly, I could offer you something more visually interesting than before. Just something to consider.

Yeah, that sounds good indeed. I remember the trade we did a couple of years back. It was a very nice experience. I don't know if I could deliver something as high quality as your recent art though. You seem to have improved quite a lot, and the coloring sure adds more value to your art. But yeah, we could do that someday.

I appreciate the compliments though I'm not sure I'd call my stuff "high quality." However, only one of us can do the "mine won't be good enough" thing and I'd like to think I'm a professional at it. Besides, I've only been coloring regularly for the last 12 drawings, and they're certainly not all masterpieces. You yourself have improved and made your technique much more solid. I wholeheartedly believe that Avery drawing you did was a better piece than the one I gave you, and the way you mimicked my own comics and traditional art was incredible. You attention to details like that set you above and beyond most others. And based on the way you draw other alien creatures, I'm sure if you drew a Lusairdae you'd hit it out of the park. And I could probably do a lot more with a Retcan than I could before, especially with the intense eyes.

Anyway, I'm not going to hound you about it, but it's something I'd be interested in doing. I know you've got better things to do right now but if you take an interest in it you can let me know if and when it sounds like a good thing to spend your time on. After I finish this commission, I'm game pretty much whenever (although I know you don't like having the ball in your court).
