Shoulder problems -> Spine problems?

So doctors are now thinking that it might be best to get a scan of my entire spine just to be sure, considering the injections did fuck all.
which you know.. doesn't make me anxious or worried at all :I
They think maybe I might have a pinched nerve somewhere that's causing me shoulder pain but it may be something in my spine doing it, so just to be safe they want to get an MRI done of my shoulder and my back.
Back problems have a long running history in my family and it wouldn't be unlikely for me to have them at a young age... either way, it's looking like I'll need to have an MRI done of my spine and shoulder. :\
Here's hoping it's nothing too serious.
In the meantime.. still lots of rest and downtime.... still in lots of pain...
