i'm a little scared, what with some of the facial animations and other stuff i've seen. i'm still going to play it, but ... oof, i'm so worried. hopefully it'll still be good, or they'll patch stuff a bit or whatever it takes? :'D as long as the gameplay and story/characters are good i'll be able to forgive poor animations ...

I'm am, but i'm afraid for the Quarians in the game. There's vague hints about them from the devs on twitter, and in multiplayer it didn't look like there were any playable. Im gonna miss my female Quarian engineer.

Yeah, some of the core races, and alot of the side ones are not talked about at all, by the devs, or even game trailers. Hope they all have some representation in the game, I don't have any OCs but I couldn't help but make a little personality for my quarian engineer, would miss her if quarians never make it to multiplayer.

The Quarian ark was mentioned as being delayed so they don't know when they'll show up. I haven't finished the game yet but I heard at the end there's a message from the Quarian ark that they (and the drell and hanar and other species who are also on the ark) are coming but there's trouble

If Bioware had to mess something up about Andromeda, I would prefer it be graphics or animations. Anything else, I feel, would be far closer to the heart of what Mass Effect is. Story, characters, voice acting, player agency, combat; these are all *critical* to a good ME game. Not that graphics & animations aren't, just less so.

Of course I haven't played the game and am avoiding spoilers as best as possible, so I'm reserving judgement one way or the other. Fingers crossed.

Very true!
Some can argue that poor animation and such can hinder immersion.
But really you can get immersed in games that have polygons and no voice acting so....

I hope the story is good, and the characters are well developed and it stays true to a ME game...
