Ok, so.. here I am, typing something on my empty profile. Yay.
Another AnthroCon has passed and I had a great time, as usual. I also got con crud, as usual. I've been nursing a sprained ankle, which is thankfully not usual, and generally grinning like an idiot thinking about all the fun I had.
So what's the final result? I bought way too much cheese themed merchandise and got price gouged for a cane because I was in so much pain I couldn't limp to the nearest CVS to buy one for a third of the price.
I also had a great encounter with the guy who runs Maus Gear making me a custom harness that I'm going to be using as part of my mechanized tail project I've been tinkering with. I'll throw pictures up when he mails me the special little removable additions he didn't have the hardware to make at the con. Great guy, and you can tell he absolutely loves what he does for a living. It's rare to see someone that excited about making something for you when he's been doing it all day, every day, for months in a row with all the cons he visits.
I've also been trying to track down whoever designed the art for this little wooden token that was handed to me as part of the secret society theme. It's a token for the FreeMousans with a mouse themed spoof of the freemason logo. It is adorable and I want it on a shirt, so if anyone knows who made it, toss me a name.
Oh, and I bought a bunch of stuff from
Nevask again. She made a bunch more mouse ears and the quality has improved enough to be worth investing in a second pair, as well as buying a shorter mouse tail that I'm referring to as my "casual tail" when I don't want to throw on the harness needed to operate the mechanized one. Great quality as always.

FA+

I'll heal up though. I'm used to my knee going out, old injury, but the ankle is a new thing. Caught a stair wrong on the way down from my room on the first day.
