Manchester mini furmeet on Saturday 12th July!

~ Please remember the meet is 16+ only ~



So notes are going at the top this time considering people are obviously not reading them at the bottom of the journal...

At the last meet we had countless people eating their own food inside the venue and leaving rubbish all over the place. Please stop this right now! The venue does not permit food bought outside of the premise to be eaten inside and we certainly don't expect to be picking up chocolate and cake wrappers after you guys seriously. If you're caught eating inside the venue you'll be asked to leave. If you get caught again you'll receive a 1 meet ban on top of being asked to leave. This issue is irritating the venue and putting our booking in jeopardy. The venue sell their own reasonably price food so support the venue please guys!



On another serious note staff found 1 attendee who shall go unnamed drinking their own bottle of Southern Comfort casually in the upstairs area (purple lounge) We are aware who this individual was and you are now on your last official warning before bans get handed out. I think it's very disrespectful of you to show up to a 16+ furmeet in a bar are start drinking your own alcohol. Show some respect and manners!



We've had a few complains from other attendees and venue bar staff that are few fursuiters are getting a big "handsy" with each other. Please remember guys this is a public venue not exclusively booked to us, also the bar staff don't really fancy coming into work on Saturday to see you grabbing each others dicks so please, lay off the PDA. It's getting too far now.



Last point, please remember the fursuit lounge closes AT 6pm. Meaning it must be clear and totally empty ready for the venue to use at 6pm. Last meet there were a ridiculous amount of cases and bags left downstairs which all had to be moved upstairs by staff. Please remember to move your case upstairs BEFORE 6pm.

Anyway, onto the good stuff...





This months furmeet will be held at Tribecca bar in Manchester near Sackville gardens. If you are unsure where this is, newbies meet up at between 11am and 12pm at Manchester Piccadilly train station outside platforms 1 and 2. It always helps to have someone’s mobile number in case you get a bit lost or feel shy. Feel free to message any staff or volunteers to ask for a number to contact people on. There will be a member of staff waiting to welcome you at the station and are free to talk to any shy MancFurs who may be attending their first meet. Don’t worry! We've all been there! :) 



We’ll make our way to Tribecca, our host venue, dead on 12 so don't get left behind. After you’ve arrived, the day is yours to spend as you see fit. Go out with a group of your friends to the city centre, stay inside the venue and take part in some activities, sit in the nearby gardens, head to the cinema and so forth.

Remember the fursuit walk is at 3pm so get changed before this time please!

Activities



Card games

Feel free to bring any card games you have like Pokemon or Magic. Don't be shy just ask to play! We have a few regular decks of cards kicking about so ask a volunteer and play away.





Art corner UNTIL 2PM

Every meet we have an art corner hosted by Kaoru and some helpers. Feel free to pull up a chair and get drawing. This corner is open to everyone with pens and paper provided. Artists can sit down and even sell art/print/merc (No cash exchange inside the venue please) Speak to Kaoru at the meet for further details!



Drinking games

Pretty obvious one there =P Take care of yourself! We're not babysitters.



Fursuit walk

The fursuit will take place at 3pm so we recommend you change before this time and be ready to leave. It's raining we usually stay inside the venue though
