AC round up
Had a good time at AC 2014 with
We picked up
from Detroit airport and drove down early Friday morning.
We stayed at the Marriott hotel that was further from the convention. The walk back and forth was not to bad. This years turn out was great. Lots of artist in artist ally and there was a lot of fur fursuiters. I was surprised to see they moved location for the Zoo to the lower floor on the convention. The space was very big but did not have the same feeling of the other zoo location.
This year I brought artwork to submit in the art show for the 2nd year in a row. I was happy to sell all my artwork. I had 4 prints that I submitted. They were the new lenticular prints that I have been working on for the past 2 months. My Kirara print got a honorable mention and I received a ribbon which made me very happy.
People I seen at this years con:
It was great to see frostbite again. I have not seen him in a while. I drew a trading card pic for him as a gift. I also stole some of his warmth. The Zoo was so cold in the lower floor and frostbite was so warm.... I gave him a big hug every time I saw him. fursuiters make great hand warmers btw.
The man with the power! It was good to see Jäger Wolf again. He was cranking out the artwork in the artist ally and was nice enough to have a table with power strip for me and yawg in the zoo. His beard is still just as epic as I remember from last time.
O boy this guy... He was hanging out at our table in the zoo. I saw him motor boat yawg and have been seeking counseling ever sense to get the picture out of my mind. He really liked my drawing of Toothless that I was working on so I borrowed his sketch book and drew a pic of his character and toothless taking a selfie.
One of Claypaws fav artist. Found Teakitsune in the dealers den. She had some prints that she was selling. Me and Claypaws have been to her table a few times looking over her artwork. Claypaws really wanted to by a print from her and she came up with a elaborate story based off some of the prints. She said that all 3 prints where connected and told a story. I loved Claypaws story so much I ended up buying all 3 prints from Teakitsune (print 1) (print 2)
It was fun going out for dinner with Koh and Pmoss at the sushi place. The food there was very good. And he made reservations which made it feel fancy. I drew a picture of Tigress on a trading card and gave it to Koh as a gift. Koh also brought some whiskey and made the Zoo for me and yawg very interesting to say the least. Very cool guy and glad I was able to see him.
One of my fav artist on FA. I found her in the Artist Ally and got a commission sketch from her with me and Claypaws. I look forward to getting more commissions from her in the future.
It was his first year doing Artist Ally for AC I was very happy to see him again. I was able to snag a sketch of Yiff from him which turned out awesome. I will be inking and coloring it in soon and post it to my alt account.
me and yawg found henbe hanging out in artist ally. It was really good getting a chance to talk to him and see him in person. yawg commissioned him for a renamon pic and I talked to him about making comics. Thanks to his input I am going to start a comic of my own.
I also had a chance to see Kadath at AC I really like his work and I drew a sketch of his character Puzzle . He draw a quick sketch of my character Amy fox in my sketch book as well. He also got a pic from Yawg.
All and all the Convention this year went very well. I hope to get a chance to go once again next year.

I'll get a scan of my commission as soon as I figure out how to work the thing and install drivers again.
