Three months ago, I thought my life was falling down the poop chute. My father had told me that he would not be helping me pay for college and because of that, I won't be able to attend UTSA. Well..., one day during school, our counselor sat us down all day to work on a scholarship that UTB, the local university, was offering. The award was a full ride to the University of Texas at Brownsville including a dorm as long as a GPA of 3.0 is maintained.

I got called in for an interview at UTB for the scholarship, and I BOMBED IT. xD I get really nervous. For some godly reason, I was somehow accepted into the program and got a dorm and everything. :D I would be rooming with my friend who is also the valedictorian of my class. :P The college fund my mom has for me is now going to be used for my dorm stuff and other expenses. This would include the new late 2013 13" MacBook Pro with retina display that I'm using to type this. x3 IT'S FARKING AWESOME! I love macs. n.n

The rest of my college fund will go towards getting my masters degree. (probably at UTSA xD) So I didn't need that job at HEB after all and well everything just came together and seemed to just work out. n.n I'm so happy and I can't wait to start the next chapter of my life. I will move in to UTB on the 23 of August and I will start studying Computer Science on the 25. n.n
