To solve that problem you could always do a design based on the character like you did on Sakanyu's, really love the ring of his. but yeah you can always ask the commissioner if there is any preference or any ideas~

i know :3 i liked designing his based of his outfit. but sometimes the character doesnt have an outfit with the ref and what i mean is that. when drawing yours i was thinking i should do more with it but decided on it being simpler
