So.. I've been considering making a fursuit of one of my characters for a while now. Mostly just to try my hand at it.

I don't know if there are many fursuit builders watching me, or anyone who knows where I might find good tutorials, information and resources for suit building?

Just would love to get any information I can, as at this point I am pretty clueless and no idea how or where to start. x.x

Check out the fursuiting community on Livejournal. Tons of references, tutorials and many people willing to help out and offer advice. I believe it's just fursuit.livejournal.com

You can also keep an eye out for some people livestreaming Fursuits, theyre ususally happy to discuss the process and all

The fursuit live journal community mentioned earlier is the best one I know of. Years ago when I attempted to make my own fursuit head they were a great help with plenty of information. More recently I've thought about a second attempt at making a head using the facial prosthetics available from here: http://northfur.ca/ If it helps, an idea I had would be to glue the prosthetics to a balaclava hood and applying fur over that to make a head.
