Wanting to do art. Lack skill.

Hello, I've been wanting to do some art, maybe get some stuff posted on here that aren't camera pictures. The only problem is that I do not have much art skill, and I would like to maybe get some. Maybe start off with something easy then work my way up.
Things I'd to make:
1. Con-badges
2. Fursuit Badges (If skills are met)
3. Decent art pieces
4. (If I turn toward suiting things) Handpaws *just a idea, not something I'd do unless I have the material
