I'd agree, people tend to automatically attach ideas like 'dirty' and 'depraved' to whenever they hear a fetish mentioned.

Yet for some it can be something extremely simple, like a fetish for women in business suits.

Either way a fetish turns someone on and that fact alone is enough to make some people uncomfortable. SO they'd rather not know

there are plenty of furs who love that stuff on FA

but I try to do less of that stuff XDD I wanna be better at manly things cause I like manly ;u; (but everything I draw looks girly..)

there could be two character themes
One character a dominant all big and strong and the other a girly sub
maybe the dom holding a leash that is attached to a collar around the subs neck

There are things that can hint at fetish without having the perceived negative connotations. For example, one person giving another a kiss on the forehead, the one receiving the kiss wearing a collar or piece of jewelry with a symbol or initials on it. It's a loving, affectionate scene, with just enough symbology for the loving master to their pet. They could even be dressed in regular clothes.

Another idea along this line could be a master bathing their pet, or dressing their pet in the wee hours of the morning when the sun is just breaking over the horizon and the shadows cast from the window are still long.

It's easy to forget that fetish's don't have to be sexual or overt or shoved in the viewer's face. It can be subtle, tasteful, loving, affectionate, symbolic, sweet. It just depends on how you want to portray it.
